Chinese traders brought their ceramics to the Lamu Islands between the 17th and 19th centuries. A delicate, hand painted pattern from a Chinese Swatow bowl found in Lamu inspired this fabric. It thus carries a sense of historical and cultural intrigue.
One of our personal favourites, this fabric works very well on curtains. It’s rich, yet whimsical and can uplift a room’s vibrancy. It combines well with Desert Night.
